Q. Does oil wear out? A. Oil does not wear out, it simply becomes contaminated, due to inadequate filtration, to the point that it needs to be drained away. Replacement Filter Change  in miles or hours	You change the element in the FS-2500 every 10,000 miles or for equipment, 250 hours. Your oil need only be changed when you have reached your desired oil drain interval or oil analysis shows evidence that the life of the oil cannot be extended.	When used in conjunction with AMSOIL motor oil and an AMSOIL EaO or Donaldson Endurance™ filter, the EaBP should be changed every other full-flow filter change up to 60,000 miles. When used with other brands of motor oil or full flow filters, the EaBP Filter should be changed every other full flow filter change. AMSOIL recommends using oil analysis when extending oil drain intervals.	In most cases, the GCF filter will be serviced at the same interval that the oil was being changed. EXAMPLE: 8V71 DT – 250 hours, 398 CAT – 500 hours. On some engines (such as EMD’s) that require large amounts of make up oil, the oil drain interval may be several thousand hours. In these engines we suggest that a portable oil quality analyzer oil analysis be used to determine filter change intervals. On EMD engines, however, the normal interval should be between 500 and 750 hours. (One GCF Model 0-2 for each 500 HP)

Cleaning Ability	1 to 10 micron range.  Cleans down to 1 micron and removes water from the oil.	These filters remove 39 percent of soot contaminants less than 1 micron. Soot removal efficiency increases approximately 10 to 14 percent when the EaBP Filter is used in conjunction with a standard full flow filter. AMSOIL EaBP Filters have an efficiency of 98.7 percent at two microns. Often used as second bypass filter for particles less then 1 micron.	1 – 5 micron range. Moisture Removal down to 40 PPM
